This rub (or a version of it) is used in several of my recipes including oven pulled pork, spicy BBQ shrimp, and chipotle rubbed steak. It’s a versatile rub that can be used with chicken, pork, beef, and even hearty seafood.
2T garlic powder
2T onion powder
2T smoked paprika
1T black pepper
2T kosher salt
2t chipotle powder
2T sugar
Helpful Hints
Make a double batch of this tasty rub and store it in an air-tight container for up to 3 months
